Our Giant Microbes Heart Model is a velvety soft and squidgy friend and educational aid. The heart pumps blood at a rate of 60 - 100 beats per minute through the 60,000 miles of blood vessels, delivering oxygen and nutrients to your organs and cells. Your heart beats about 100,000 times in a day or 35 million times in a year, a lot of pumping for one lifetime.
The front of the heart is labelled with the ventricles, atria, septum, aorta, vena cava, pulmonary veins and arteries. Both sides feature beautifully coloured artwork that brings the heart to life.
Finished in super-soft Giant Microbes plush.
